  2008 NAHB GREEN BUILDING CUSTOM HOME OF THE YEAR

  2008 National Green Award for Custom Home of the Year presented by the National Association of Home Builders at their Green Conference in New Orleans on May 10. More than 200 builders, trades people, manufacturers, developers, architects, media members and others were present at the award dinner to witness Rick Chaffey, Co President of Chaffey Homes, receive the award accompanied by Pam Worner, Green Dog Enterprises; Pat McBride, GMS Architects; and Dave Porter.

  2008 GREEN HAMMER AWARD

  Awarded by the Built Green Program of King and Snohomish Counties - Chaffey Homes worked with property owner Dave Porter to create "Going Green at the Beach," a custom-built 5-Star Built Green single family home in Stanwood, Washington. The home was used as a demonstration project where visitors could learn about green building, and is one of the first 5-Star Built Green homes in Snohomish County.
